Mission Statement:
The Movement Church exists to ignite the world with a passion to live, love, and serve by loving God, loving people, and learning to love ourselves.
This form serves as a symbol of commitment. We are asking you to make a commitment with The Movement Church for 1 year and experience the amazing love of God together with us. God honors commitment.
Joining The Movement Church as a member is all about attending, contributing and helping.
These are the 3 fundamentals that make The Movement what it is.
ATTENDING
1. Being a member of The Movement Church means you attend worship services as much as possible. You are obviously already attending, because you are HERE. Thank you for being faithful in your attendance. Your presence here at The Movement is needed and celebrated. By making a commitment to attend church, you are honoring God and your church family with your presence.
CONTRIBUTING
2. Secondly, being a member of The Movement Church means you contribute financially. We do not require any set amount of giving, but we do believe in the concept of sowing and reaping. Our goal is for our members to tithe, which is a Biblical principle of contributing 10% of your income. We understand that some people are going through a tight financial season, so anything you donate The Movement is greatly appreciated and fully tax deductible. We believe the tithe is a spiritual goal and guideline, not a condemning command. God loves a cheerful giver and we want our members to give out of love. Your giving goes towards cost for the facility, website, ministry materials, and more. By making a commitment to contribute, you are honoring God and your church family with your generosity.
HELPING
3. Finally, being a member of The Movement Church means to help. Our church would not exist without our volunteers. Our goal is for our members to volunteer twice a month, so the other 2 weeks they can be spiritually fed in service. By making a commitment to volunteer, you are honoring God and your church family with your acts of service.
